Aquatic Exercise is Beneficial to Weight Loss

Generally when you think of aquatic exercising, thoughts of rehabilitation for injuries or cross-training come to mind. But really aquatic exercise can benefit everyone. Water workouts are used for relaxation, maintaining weight loss and cardio training, and because of the resistance of the water, they can be greater workouts than land exercises to aid your weight loss.

The water's buoyancy lifts the whole body and supports about 50% of your body weight, making exercises much easier to do. This makes it a great workout since it also supports the ease of movement. Because the water reduces the impact to the joints and ligaments of your body, water exercising is suitable for the fit and unfit.

The other benefit of workouts in water is the resistance. Water has 11 times more pressure than air, so no matter how you move, you're having a great workout. Unlike doing exercises outside the water where you're only against gravity, the resistance from the water comes from all directions. Also, the deeper you're in the water, the more calories you burn.

Most water aerobics are similar to land aerobics and include running, walking, dancing, and other intense exercises. These exercises can have a greater benefit than swimming because half of your body is below the water, which increases the intensity. To continue increasing the intensity of your water aerobic exercises, go to more deeper parts of the pool that touch your waist, then your chest.

Another reason to consider water aerobics is the benefit of an indoor pool. The exercises can be done all year round in and are especially beneficial in the hotter months of the year. Because of this, it is great coupled with a diet if your plans are to lose weight because your routine or scenery doesn't have to change. Aquatic exercise and a good diet can be an excellent way to heal the body while losing or maintaining weight.

Remember to choose an exercise routine that is perfect for you. The type of diet and exercise you want is one that will be an inspiration and a great motivation to lose weight because it is actively taking you towards your goal and making you feel good every step of the way.

Cardio Exercise to Burn Fat - Melt Body Fat and Get a Sexy Flat Stomach

Cardio Exercise to Burn Fat. This is what most people are needing to kick their fat loss into overdrive - some kicking cardio!

Cardio is just the name given to any exercise that is not resistance training (weights, cable workouts, body weight exercises etc). So when you hear cardio, don't assume they mean running. Running, sprinting, jogging and walking can all be great tools to burn fat, but they can get old quickly, and not everybody is going to enjoy them

Here is the proverbial hammer and nails in the fat burners belt:

Stair Sprints

These are the one you have been searching for. If I could sell you anything it would be the idea to go and find a massive staircase and run up and down it until you feel ill. This I feel is one of the best tools you can use to melt body fat faster than anything else. You get such a complete workout - you get training for your heart because it will beat through the roof running up such a steep gradient, you get to workout your legs, and you will sweat like a mad man.

Don't ignore this workout. It may seem simple but trust me, if you have a big staircase (I am talking at least 200 stairs) and jog up and down it a few times - you will feel the burn.

You will be cursing the next day because your calves are burning, that my friends, is your body saying "GIVE ME MORE!!!".

Cardio to Lose Belly Fat - How to Lose Belly Fat With Effective Cardio Workouts

Knowing what the best kind of cardio is can make or break your fat burning mission. If you start doing regular boring old cardio your body will soon adapt to it and you will plateau very fast.

How much body fat you want to lose is irrelevant, if you want to start burning body fat, you must use some sort of cardiovascular exercise. The most common cardio workouts are things such as running, cycling and swimming. These can be great at burning fat, but if you have a selection of a few workouts that you choose from, your body will not adapt to the one workout, therefore your results will come around a lot faster.

Here are some of my favorite fat busting alternatives ever:

Box Jumping

This might sound kind of lame, but that must be because you have never tried it! Set up a box or just find a ledge that is about 30cm off the ground. Stand directly opposite it and with both feet on the ground, jump up onto the ledge, and then back down. Repeat this a set number of times and you will see what I mean. After a few rounds it gets very grueling and your legs will burn! Great fat burner.

Free Weight Sessions

Strictly speaking, these are not cardio - but I don't speak strictly. One of my favorite free weight workouts to really get me sweating is the dumbbell squat. This is where you hold the dumbbells up on either side of your head, then you squat down like you are doing a normal squat. Then you use your legs to drive yourself back up again, then once at the top, press the dumbbells up like you would for a military press, straight up in the air, and straight back down again. Then start over and repeat for as many reps as you choose.

How to Make Exercise Fun

Do you dread the thought of going to the gym? Do you cringe at the idea of going out and getting a good workout? For many people, finding the motivation to get physically fit can be difficult. However, exercise can be a lot of fun if you follow these tips below:

1. Exercise With a Friend: It's always a lot more fun to workout with a friend than it is by yourself. They can keep you company while you are jogging or you can laugh at each other while you do aerobics. Instead of seeing your exercise time as a chore, you'll actually start looking forward to spending time with your friend instead.

2. Do Something Different: It is easy to get bored if you are constantly doing the same fitness activities all of the time. You can try a variety of different aerobic activities from walking to swimming to joining a dancing class. If you are starting to get bored or lose interest, trying something new and different can help keep things exciting.

3. Change Location: If you're tired of being stuck inside a gym or walking the same roads each and everyday, changing your location and the scenery and make a huge difference. Going new places and trying new things will make exercise become an enjoyable adventure for you. The more variety you have in the different places you go, the less likely you will become bored. Try parks, new fitness centers, or exploring a new town or city.

4. Add Some Competition: Check with your local area and see if there are any teams or sports groups you can join. You can try playing softball, tennis, and other team sports or you can sign up for races and other competitive events. Sometimes a little competition can help you feel motivated to do your best, and you'll likely meet some new people and friends along the way.

Exercise and getting in shape doesn't have to be boring or uninteresting. If you try these tips above you'll find that you can get back on track and refocus to live a healthier and happier life.
